I’m a sweet, quiet middle-aged lady around 10, a lovely calico with blue eyes. My daughter (Callie) and I had a hard life and she was keeping guard over me. It’s been me and her against the world for a long time. But now that she’s safe and looking for her own forever home, it’s time for me to also find my new family!
I’m a bit shy and cautious around new people, but if you take it slow, I’ll warm up to you. I am learning to come out of my shell and trust people day by day. I’m not an “in your face” kind of lady and happy to just sit close to you, not so much being picked up and cuddled.
I’m ok with other cats, but prefer them from a distance and when they are respectful. I enjoy long naps and dreaming of catnip and sun rays, or sometimes just watching the foster boy cats play while I chill.
